Annie just wants to get out of her small town and make some new friends. Jacob's gotten into trouble one too many times and needs some rehabilitation. Camp Pine Ridge is the perfect answer to both. Annie soon catches Jacob's eye, but she's got somebody else in mind as the perfect summer Beau. When Annie enlists Jacob's help to get the guy (while learning to swim) she realizes she may have chosen the wrong guy.
Overall, this was a cute read, but there were a few things I found off. Jacob was not as "bad boy"ish as I thought he would be. And Annie's past with her brother was also weird. It should've been hinted at more or made a bigger impact on the story. It just seemed odd.
