How did I feel about The Girl on the Train?
I think Veronica Mars' raspberry says it all. (Pooey! My gigs aren't working!) I was given a list of award winning books to read for an English assignment and this book immediately stood out to me. So I went out and bought it yadda yadda yadda. 30 pages in I couldn't read another word. It was just, the women were so pathetic and sad, I couldn't stand to be inside their heads. The main woman, Rachel maybe?, just kept thinking the same things over and over. Her life was just so sad! I'm sure there was a good story in there somewhere, but it just wasn't interesting enough for me to stick around and find it. Overall, this book gets a whopping:
